Sunshine vs Deer Park FC/Caroline Springs FC
Final score: Deer Park / Caroline Springs 12.11 (83) d Sunshine 3.7 (25)

Good win in windy conditions. We started the game off well and continued to build our lead from there. Riley and Bailee both kicked 3 goals with both being in the best players. Shawn played his best game this year and kicked 2 goals. Josh Petreski, Jackson and Rhys all kicked one. Max played well again and Kyle Schofield played a really good game. We have come together as a really good team and with the regrading it will be interesting for the rest of the season. Our great start with 3 wins from 4 games will help us later in the season.

UNDER 14's

What a difference a week makes in Football. From a heartbreaking loss, The U14's Lakers have broken through for their first win of the season by downing Old Westbourne by 3 points.

Final Score - Caroline Springs 7 . 7 : 49
Old Westbourne 6 .10 : 46

Mike "Ice" Tarr pulled of the move of the year by moving his regular FB to FF and ended up being the difference with a 5 goal haul. Shane "Maverick" Psaila didn't have faith in "Ice" unlike "Goose" Azzopardi, but we know now who the real "Top Gun" is on the Boundary Line....Get It !...one for the mums and dads cause the kids won't know what I'm talking about....

Now to the real stars...The boys put in a tremendous 4 quarter display and after being down by a goal at 3 quarter time, stormed home to take a memorable victory by 3 points. Jack "Tarzan" James become the ultimate Swingman" by booting 5 majors. Jack "High Tower" Taylor, controlled the skies by pulling down towering marks all day long. Khoa "Junk Yard Dog" Nguyen scraped his way through the packs without fear and "Harry O" Floris took another big name scalp. The "Axe" has announced himself to the WRFL with another 4 quarter display whilst the unpassable "Tank" was simply that....

Great to see the boys singing the song with all the mums in the middle to celebrate Mother's Day.....The LAKERS ARE BACK.....PITY THOSE WHO STAND IN THEIR WAY......

Under 15

Playing with our full list of players Caroline Springs Under 15 worked together as a team to run out winners over Albanvale 7-7-49 to 20-20-140.

The wind was strong and affected our accuracy, but the determination of the boys together with persistence paid out in the end.  The goals were shared by many players, with unselfish play and teamwork allowing for the boys to win decisively.  Albanvale played hard and tough, with our opposition mostly bigger than us we had to rely on our skills and speed to win each contest.

 Goal Kickers: S. Cannolo-Jackson 5, B. Gale 4, J. Dicarluccio 3, D. Galea 2, M. Amrit , J. Carter , B. McKenzie , H. Boothey , J. Ives , M. Gebremeskel
Best Players: M. Gebremeskel, B. McKenzie, J. Carter, S. Cannolo-Jackson, K. Turner, J. Bartkowicz
